A PREPARATION FOR MARRIAGE WORKSHOP

Communicate effectively & maintain intimacy

Learn the secrets of happy marriages & principals for a loving relationship

The Workshops are sponsored by the Samaritan Center and participating churches to help couples prepare for the issues that are part of a close loving relationship. We'll help you explore those issues and develop skills in dealing with them in a loving manner!

Workshop Objectives

• what makes relationships work from a Christian perspective
• identify common pitfalls that lead to emotional distance
• identify practical techniques to maintain nurture & safety
• learn that positive emotional principals are congruent with Biblical principles
• discover how your family history can help or hurt your relationship

Our Goal is to help each couple achieve success in creating a marriage that lasts forever!

2007 - 2008 SCHEDULE

All workshops are on Saturday's 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Cost: $100 per couple. Each couple receives a certificate satisfying the Florida requirement for a four hour premarital workshop.

Workshop Leader

Brian J. Williams, LCSW is a humorous & engaging speaker. His talks are informative & fun. He brings an academic understanding of marriage & families and his own experience in being married for 30 years and raising 4 kids. A graduate of Princeton University with a Masters in Social Work from Barry University, Brian has worked with families in crisis at the Center for Family Services. This experience helps him teach couples how to achieve real success.
